Baltimore v. Boston

Last night, we caught a weekday Orioles game at Camden Yards. We're lucky to live so close to the stadium - usually we just walk down and back. And its pretty cheap to get in. We buy $10 tickets and then sneak into the good seats.

The Orioles played the Boston Red Sox (not Socks - Kevin had to set me straight with the spelling) and the place was packed. It's so confusing for me when the Orioles play the Red Sox or Yankees. There's usually more fans in the stadium rooting for them than the Orioles, so I end up cheering at the wrong times. Maybe I should pay more attention to the plays and less on my nachos and Cracker Jacks.

Here are a few snaps from the game:

The stadium was pretty much at full attendance. Camden Yards welcomed its 50 millionth fan last night. We got a free lapel pin.
Here are our friends Tami and George. Tami and I go way back - we worked together in the Student Activities office at Mary Washington. George is her fiance. They are (obvious) Red Sox fans. They even have BoSox license plates. I love this game. Pick which crab is hiding the baseball and follow him as he jumps around. I'm SO good at this game. So is everyone else.
Here's a shot of the scoreboard. Look closely and you can see the Orioles losing.
